Congratulations are in order for Ms. Dyana Lucas who won 4th place for her poster presentation at AbSciCon 2010.
She was recognized along with three other students for delivering the best poster presentations out of hundreds of posters from undergraduates through doctoral students. Dr. Barry Blumberg (Nobel recipient in Medicine, 1976) was one of the judges who grilled her for over 20 minutes. Apparently, she answered questions to his satisfaction (see photo). She was awarded a $500 prize as well. Congrats Dyana....!!!
Dine College student, Dyana Lucas, completed astrobiology research in two semesters in 2009-2010 while studying at the University of Montana in the Native American Research Laboratory.
